About Our Designers
Pandora was founded by goldsmiths Per and Winnie Enevoldsen in Denmark in 1982. Due to the company’s enormous popularity, they opened a production facility in Thailand in 1989, hiring designer Lone Frandsen to help create a jewelry line. Their focus was on creating unique jewelry with a widespread appeal. In 2000 they handicrafted their first customizable charm bracelet. Customers embraced the bracelet, and its high sales eventually enabled the company to grow internationally. Their jewelry is sold in 47 countries on 6 continents.
Pandora’s famous charm bracelets have a patented threading which allows customers to customize their look. They sell over 800 handcrafted charms, available in 14k gold, sterling silver, and murano glass. The Source sells many of these charms, both in stores and online.
